Start into the main season

Mountain Vision AG

On Saturday, 18 December 2021 we are starting the main season. Due to strong winds at higher altitudes, a lot of snow has been blown away and the pistes have to be prepared with great effort. Nevertheless, we are very pleased that we will be ready for you at the start of the main season with almost the full range of offers on the mountain.

Cable car facilities and pistes

As from Friday, 17 December 2021, the Scansinas - Mutta Rodunda chairlift and the Plaun - Scansinas - Nagens gondola lift will also be in operation

This means that winter sports enthusiasts will have around 145 kilometres of pistes at their disposal this coming weekend.

You can see which pistes are not yet open on the live page or in the INSIDE LAAX App.

Snowparks und Halfpipes

The Beginner Snowpark, the NoName Snowpark, parts of P60 and two kickers of the Pro Line are already open. The Mini-Pipe and Superpipe are expected to be open from Christmas. You can also check the status of the snowparks and halfpipes via the live page or the INSIDE LAAX app.

Easter weekend

Mountain Vision AG

Enjoy Easter in the snow! Whether it's a fast downhill run on the slopes, an action-packed session in the snow park or a leisurely winter walk - Flims Laax Falera offers you a variety of experiences.

Here you can find all the info about the upcoming easter weekend and about the extension of our winter season by three weekends.

Easter weekend (2 - 5 April 2021)

  • Lift operating hours: During Easter you can enjoy the mountain half an hour longer, if the weather permits:
    - Last slope check: 5.15 p.m.
    - Last descent Nagens - Flims: 5.15 p.m.
    - Last descent Crap Sogn Gion - Laax: 5.15 p.m.
  • Weather and lifts: This weekend, we expect mostly sunshine and spring-like temperatures. All lifts, including those on the Flims side (except the Spaligna lift), are expected to be in operation. The chairlifts Flims – Foppa and Foppa – Naraus will be in operation for skiers and snowboarders to get to the Grauberg cable car. Pedestrians will be transported to Naraus as well. The slopes around Foppa and Naraus are no longer open. All other slopes, snow parks, winter hiking trails and snowshoe trails are open. Current information about weather and lifts you'll always find on laax.com/live or on the INSIDE LAAX app.
  • Lake Cauma lift: In addition to the facilities on the mountain, from 2 to 5 April, the Lake Cauma lift is in operation from 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. The access to the lake is free.
  • Tickets online only: To make sure that you can enjoy perfect winter sports conditions safely and with enough distance, half-day and day tickets are limited and purchase is only possible via the INSIDE LAAX app and in the webshop. Day and half-day tickets are not available at the ticket offices. We recommend buying your ticket before your arrival, so your place on the mountain is secured.
  • For the best experience: To reduce the valley station's waiting times in the morning and to get you up the mountain as quickly as possible, we kindly ask you to use the slopes to the valley after 11 a.m. This allows us to reduce the traffic on the valley lifts. The number of people in closed gondolas and cable cars is still limited to 2/3 of the intended capacity.
  • Pedestrians: If you prefer to use the winter hiking trails, Flims Laax Falera offers you a wide choice of trails and paths
  • Restaurants: For the refreshment in between we offer you a wide take away offer in the winter sports area. You can find an overview of the restaurants here. Are you planning a trip to Lake Cauma? The restaurant there is also open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and offers take-away meals.

We extend the winter season until Sunday, May 02, 2021

Good News: LAAX extends the winter season by three weekends. After the regular season end on Sunday, 11 April 2021, the ski area will thus be open additionally on the following weekends, if the snow conditions allow:

  • 17 - 18 April
  • 24 - 25 April
  • 1 - 2 May

The operation is planned around Crap Sogn Gion, Alp Dado, Curnius and Plaun. You can find out if the conditions allow the operation and which lifts and slopes are open on the respective weekend on Wednesday evenings on laax.com/news or on the INSIDE LAAX app.
