Getting there

By bike or on foot

With the bike you can get through the Flimserwald forest from Staderas to Conn and then from Conn to Crestasee.

If you want to walk, you decide whether you want to take the short path directly to the Lake Cresta, or the long one, which passes the Lake Cauma. For the shorter route, you start at Flims Waldhaus and follow the signs to Lake Cresta, for the longer you start at Flims Waldhaus and walk in the direction of Conn past Lake Cauma first. From there you can follow a path that directly leads to Lake Cresta.

By public transport

From Laax or Flims you take the bus to Trin / Chur. At the stop "Trin, Felsbach-Crestasee" you get off the bus, from the stop it takes 20 minutes to the lake Cresta. Trin Mulin also has a stop in the village from where you can start. From this stop it takes 40 minutes to the beautiful lake Cresta.

By car

From Flims, Laax and Falera you drive to Trin Mulin. From Trin Mulin village the way to parking spaces 3 to 5 in the Flimser Grosswald is well-labeled. The walk from the parking lots to the lake Cresta takes 10 minutes on foot.

On the way from Flims to Trin

Felsbach gorge

A jewel of nature awaits you on the hiking trail from Flims to Trin. The river Flem has not only been a creative builder on the mountain, but also dug an impressive path through the forest down in the valley. It gushes and gurgles through a narrow gorge and reports effervescently about its long journey that began high up at Segnesboden. On hot days the Felsbach gorge is like a fresh breeze. Together with Lake Cresta, the Felsbach gorge has its own post bus stop and can also be easily reached on foot after a short walk.
