Especially in spring and autumn, the question often arises whether the planned hiking or biking tour is already feasible or not. The interactive snow coverage map uses satellite image data to show you which areas are currently still covered with snow and which are already snow-free.
Important notice: The snow coverage displayed is based on satellite data which, in favourable weather conditions, reflects the situation of the previous day. However, it must be taken into account that in unfavorable weather conditions the snow situation cannot be determined from satellite data and that the snow coverage displayed as a result may be based on data that are dated back a few days.
