Deep snow, creativity and alpine adventure come together in a unique event: The Freeride Festival Flims. From 3–8 March 2026 you’ll enjoy a video contest, workshops, testival and a rich side-programme. Let's celebrate the freeride spirit together!
The Freeride Festival Flims Laax brings together riders, filmmakers and outdoor enthusiasts for six days of celebrating freeride culture in all its forms. Creative videos, hands-on workshops, the latest ski & snowboard gear for testing, plus talks, music and community moments define the festival. With it's hub at the Freeride Base LAAX on Nagens, the event blends safety know-how, alpine thrills, and shared passion.
We will put a central light on empowering women in mountain sports to strengthen their visibility and awareness. In cooperation with the LAAX Women’s Celebration Days we will focus on female athletes and role models.
From avalanche education to ski touring technique and content creation: workshops by local guides, athletes and experts give you practical skills and knowledge. Complemented by inspiring talks on safety, mental strength and mountain culture. Free entry to the ski & snowboard testing, when booking a workshop.
More details and registration links follow soon.
With 15 brands and 120+ models at your disposal: at the Testival on 7 & 8 March you’ll try the latest freeride and touring skis and snowboards on the mountain, receive expert advice on-site and find your perfect set-up.
Creativity matters! 6 to 8 invited teams will produce their own freeride clip in the back-country of Flims Laax over four days, trying to be as innovative as possible. The clips will be presented on friday night at the Riders Club in Laax.
