This legendary freeride trail takes taking you from the iconic mountain station Crap Sogn Gion (2,228 m) all the way down to the Laax Murschetg valley station (1,020 m) – that’s a massive 1,150 vertical metres of downhill action. As versatile as mountain biking in Graubünden itself: the Segnes Trail in Flims Laax offers a one-of-a-kind riding experience for those who love technical challenges and natural trails. This 3.7 km enduro singletrail is packed with stone slabs, switchbacks, jumps and berms – perfect for advanced riders looking for variety.
The trail starts above the Segneshütte, at the foot of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Tectonic Arena Sardona, and calls for precision and skill – especially in the rocky section with tight turns. From there, the ride gets flowier: in the Cardinels section, earthy terrain, small tables and natural features bring playful speed.
In the final stretch from Punt Desch to Startgels, waves, berms and the gentle sound of the Flem stream guide you through alpine meadows – before the trail seamlessly merges into the legendary Runca Trail.
The Nagens Trail in Flims Laax has everything an enduro heart could wish for: flowy sections over alpine meadows, rooty forest passages and technical segments. At the end you enter directly into the Green Valley Trail and further on into the Runca Trail; all toghether a 1200 vertical meters long trail party all the way down to Flims.
This trail truly deserves the ‘Bikers’ Dream’ label. A singletrack winding through a forest floor criss-crossed with roots. It’s the very definition of flow – sure to put a smile on any rider’s face. The Green Valley Trail flows seamlessly from the Nagens Trail and leads you to the Lower Runca Trail.
The bike trails in Flims Laax have three distinct characteristics. We distinguish between singletrails, techtrails and styletrails.
Singletrails are narrow, unpaved paths (hiking trails) characterised by technical features such as roots, uneven terrain or boulders. There are no man-made ‘style elements’ (e.g. jumps or drops).
Style- and techtrails are intended exclusively for use by mountain bikes (‘bike only’) and – unless otherwise signposted – are to be ridden in one direction only.
