Frequently asked questions

Each course consists of 4 - 6 stages (routes). The stages are connected with transfers. Transfers may include lifts and shuttles. The time is measured and cumulated exclusively on the stages (when riding down).

The fastest overall time wins the respective category.

  • Each race lasts 2 days. 1 training day (each stage may only be ridden once) and 1 race day
  • There are 4 - 6 stages per race on which the time is measured.
  • The total race time is calculated from the sum of the stages and determines the ranking.
  • Between the stages in each race, 500 - 1500 meters of altitude are covered under your own steam. The organizer can also provide mountain railroads, lifts and shuttles.
  • In the middle of the course there is a Tech. Zone where small repairs can be made. The feed zone is also located here, where you can get refreshments.

Yes, of course! The riders in the individual categories all start at Stage 1 and set off to master the other stages. They are given a defined start window and move together from stage to stage. It is therefore quite possible that one category has not yet completed a stage and another category is already at the next one. The start zones of the stages are ideal for spectators.
Please note, however, that there may be restrictions due to lift operations, and it’s important to keep track of who is starting where and when. From 1:00 PM, we’ll also provide maps to guide you to the respective start zones. The first riders will be arriving at the finish area in Laax Murschetg, where live broadcasts from the mountain stages will be shown throughout the race.

The starting field will be spread across the Flims Laax mountain area throughout the entire training and race day. The exact route will only be published one week before the event in order to prevent premature training on the course.
The respective starting positions as well as all relevant information on how to get there will be made available on this platform in good time in the form of an overview map. We will also provide recommendations on when and where you can best cheer on your MTB friends.
Please note already now: As this is an outdoor event, there may be changes or delays at short notice at any time due to weather or organizational reasons. We will keep you informed of all updates via our event hub and a live broadcast from the mountain.

There are no restrictions on Bargis, Alp Mora, the Flimserwald and around Segnes. The Runca and Segnes Trail will be freely accessible; there might be some waiting time on the lifts.

Come to the Event Hub at the rocksresort by the Laax Murschetg valley station and dive into the full bike racing vibe! A varied supporting program awaits you. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Relaxed chill-out zone

  • LED screen with live race broadcasts
