Weekend update from 18 to 19 November 2023

Mountain Vision AG

Everything would have been ready: The snow is there and the facilities on the Vorab Glacier are ready. However, due to the amount of snow and the wind situation at over 2,500 m above sea level, winter sports operations on the Vorab Glacier will unfortunately not be possible on the coming weekend of 18/19 November 2023.

The lifts will therefore remain closed and we will have to be patient until we can make our first turns in the snow. In the meantime, we are working flat out to get the Crap Sogn Gion area up and running as soon as possible.

Weekend 4 - 5 November 2023

Mountain Vision AG
[Translate to englisch:]

Due to the snow and weather conditions, no railway operations can take place on the coming weekend from 4 to 5 November 2023. Despite snowfall, the amount of snow is not yet sufficient to start winter sports operations at the weekend.

Make the most of your time in the valley and explore the autumnal forests and lakes on foot or by bike, or let off steam in rocks PARK or the ice rink in Prau la Selva.

rocksresort PARK

Get some fresh air and visit rocksresort PARK at the weekend. The Urban Surfwave inspires freestylers of all sports: children on scooters, teenagers on BMXs or adults on their skateboards. The appropriate equipment can be rented at LAAX Rental. When the energy is out, the Piazza will serve you with fine drinks and snacks.

Prau la Selva Sports Centre

At the Prau la Selva sports centre you can enjoy a wide range of activities: tennis in the mountain air of Flims, mini-golf, ice skating, ice hockey and much more.

Caumasee

Are you more the type for leisurely walks? Then the path to Lake Cauma is always worth a recommendation. The contrast between the white mountain peaks and the colourful trees is beautiful. The kiosk at Lake Cauma has snacks and drinks ready for you.

You can find more information about the offers here.

Weekend 28 - 29 October 2023

Mountain Vision AG
[Translate to englisch:]

Due to snow and weather conditions, there will be no rail service this coming weekend, 28-29 October 2023. Take advantage of the time in the valley and explore the autumnal forests and lakes or have fun with your children indoors. We recommend the following activities:

Walk Felsbachschlucht - Crestasee - Caumasee

Start your tour at the Werkhof Flims, at the first opportunity turn left towards Crestasee, to walk along the Felsbachschlucht, shortly afterwards turn left again onto a trail. Follow the path to the Felsbachschlucht gorge, where the Flem flows along. The path leads you directly behind the restaurant at Lake Cresta.

When you have seen enough, you continue towards Lake Cauma, deciding for yourself which path you want to take through the labyrinth of the large forest. You should allow 2-3 hours for the hike.
However, the kiosk at Lake Cauma has snacks and drinks ready for you.

High Ropes Park Prau la Selva

Children can use the high ropes course in Prau la Selva free of charge until 5 November. Then let's go!
The various courses, including a children's course, provide fun and excitement with six to ten stations each.

Treetop walkway

Enjoy the autumn colours high up in the treetops and walk along the 1.56 km long "Senda dil Dragun".
There is a lot to experience! With the digital experience for young and old and the newly installed ball tracks, you will learn a lot about the fauna and flora of the region and about the world of Ami Sabi.

You can find more information about the offers here.
